IAH National Chapters

Although IAH is an organisation of individual members, we have always encouraged the formation of national groups or Chapters. National Chapters are not part of the formal structure of IAH and, even where they exist, a member need not adhere to one. Some National Chapters are separate national organisations of groundwater professionals with whom links have been established so that they act as our National Chapter.

National Chapters hold meetings and undertake other activities to promote the understanding of groundwater in their country and are a means of bringing scientific and professional benefits to IAH members. Efforts to promote new Chapters are presently underway in several other countries, and IAH aims to support existing National Chapters and to promote new ones.
