| IAH Commissions, Networks & Working Groups |

IAH has historically carried out much of its scientific and technical work through its Commissions, Networks and Working Groups. Following a review process during 2010-2011 it has been recognised that more effort should be made by IAH in contributing to the science of groundwater, providing benefits to members and performing important outreach, education and training activities. Part of the review was an assessment of the structure, operation and working of the IAH Commissions, resulting in mid 2011 in renewal of some of the existing commissions and proposals for new ones.
IAH's new Commissions and Networks are listed below, together with contact details. Where applicable, website details are also provided. Whether or not you are a member of IAH, we urge you to participate. Wide involvement from the hydrogeological community is encouraged as this will greatly help the groups to thrive. Email the relevant contact below with your expression of interest, or info@iah.org and we will pass on your message to the relevant commission or network chair.
In addition, further proposals or ideas for commissions, networks or other scientific groups are always welcome, and an application form can be obtained, also by emailing info@iah.org. |
