PRESIDENTS AWARD 2011
The President’s Award is presented to a senior hydrogeologist who has made outstanding contributions to the advancement of hydrogeology. The Award was initiated in by the IAH Council in 1995 on the initiative of Past Presidents of IAH John E. Moore and Philip E. LaMoreaux. The award is made annually by decision of the President in consultation with Past-Presidents.

HONORARY MEMBERSHIP 2011
The Association from time to time accords the title of Honorary Member to those who have given long and exceptional services to the Association. over a long period. The candidates are elected, following a recommendation by the Council, by a vote of the General Assembly of the Association.

DISTINGUISHED ASSOCIATE AWARD 2011
This award is presented annually to a person who, while not being a groundwater professional, has made an outstanding contribution to the understanding, development, management and protection of groundwater resources internationally. The Award was initiated by the IAH Council of 2005 under the Presidency of Dr Stephen Foster and is made by the IAH Executive Committee following consultation
