IAH produces its book series under the imprint of Taylor & Francis, an international publishing house based in the UK. There are two series.

ICH: International Contributions to Hydrogeology: These volumes present quality material on a specific topic, contributed by a limited number of authors (including IAH Commissions and Working Groups). There are two types of publications: those with a clearly defined educational objective and those with an applied orientation.

SP: Selected Papers on Hydrogeology: SP volumes are fully edited, post-congress/specialist meeting books. Manuscripts are initially selected by the conference organizers/scientific committee. The book contents are subject to pre-publication evaluation by at least two external reviewers. The book may have separate thematic sections, with an integrating introduction chapter.

Both series have hard covers in distinctive colours, blue for the ICH and green for SP publications. They are often printed as joint publications with one or more of IAH’s international partners and are offered to IAH members at a generous discounted price.
