Hydrogeology JournalThe International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) publishes the major-cited international Hydrogeology Journal (8 issues/year) on groundwater issues and related topics. Journal issues contain peer-reviewed papers and reports on both theoretical and applied aspects of hydrogeological science, including worldwide progress in techniques and innovations.

The first issue of each year focuses on a theme or topic. Current and upcoming themes include:
  • 2011 is Using Environmental Tracers to Understand Groundwater Systems
  • 2012 is Groundwater Economics
  • 2013 is Hydrogeology of Cold Regions (and climate change impacts)
    2014 is Shallow Thermal Systems (and energy production)

IAH Global Newsletter


IAH provides updates about groundwater issues around the world and the activities of the association, including the USNC, in a bimonthly global newsletter emailed to all IAH members and also interested persons who have signed up to receive the newsletter. This newsletter and other news articles or press releases are posted online at (http://www.iah.org/news_current.asp).


USNC Newsletter


The USNC distributes an electronic newsletter semi-annually (typically spring and fall) to IAH members located in the U.S. Hard copies of the newsletter are mailed to members when electronic access is not available.

News articles from members are welcomed, especially articles on applied hydrogeological science (including activities in the U.S. and internationally), announcements, and other groundwater related information.
